In order not to put efforts and not to spend resources for the processes not related directly with the production of the end-products, the companies increasingly more transfer the functions as maintenance of fleet or cleaning of premises, etc., to the outsourced service providers. The Sales department manager of L&T, Valdis Rieksts-Riekstiņš, admits that one of the first companies to offer the Latvian industrial companies cleaning services was L&T.
The head of the Management and household service of JSC Latvijas Finieris, Jevgeņijs Ostrovskis:
- JSC Latvijas Finieris outsources the cleaning services in order to focus its resources to the basic activity of the company for many years. Our cooperation partner is L&T, which cleans premises and territories, and provides waste management. If there is a need for a specific cleaning task, to free a territory form old bulky concrete structures, for instance, L&T is able to ensure it operatively without involving other companies. We have entrusted the mechanized cleaning of snow this year as well, which we carried out by ourselves before. We think that L&T is the company of the branch that wants and is able to work, and that is always ready for the dialogue with a client.
The Production manager of Rīgas Miesnieks, Anita Parole:
- We work with L&T more that 7 years and, when the production moved to Jelgava, continued our cooperation. Cleaning is extremely important and responsible work in meat processing, and a professional company knows the twists and turns the best to organize the work correctly. We, however, can focus on the production process, rather than organization of cleaners’ work, and procurement and maintenance of different cleaning facilities and equipment. As important as the result of cleaning work is arrangement of the necessary documentation for different institutions, which describe the cleaning work process, the used chemicals, the dosage of, etc. In this respect everything is arranged at the highest level in L&T.
